NHTM’s Regional Structure

  • NHTM has developed a structure to increase communication among its members by offering targeted professional development in a regional setting.  It is hoped that these local gatherings will make it possible for mathematics teachers in our state to network more frequently while growing professionally.  A regional event typically includes an informal dinner and either timely information provided by a local speaker or the sharing of resources developed through organizations such as NCTM, NCSM, ATMNE, or the NHDoE.   Of course, there will always be opportunities to share resources and ideas about current issues in mathematics education.

  • Please contact Annie Wallace (anniekwallace@hotmail.com) or one of the coordinators listed below if you would like more information. See the map to identify the region that would be most convenient for you to attend.
  • At this time, the South East book study is doing NCTM's Catalyzing Change in High School Mathematics: Initiating Critical Conversations. Contact Michelle Morton-Curit (see below for contact information).
  • The South West region is doing a book study with "Running Records." Contact Jessica Jacques (see below for contact information).
  • Central and South Central are preparing activities TBA.
